Some tips for getting better at communicating
Your body language
Good communication involves good body posture. For example, maintain eye contact, but try not to stare. Use a confident, friendly smile, but don't smile too much.
In addition, your posture should be open: Stand well upright, head up and direct your body toward the person you are talking to. This way you radiate that you are comfortable.
In "nonverbal communication," your hand gestures are also very important. By moving your hands a lot, you make yourself big. As opposed to keeping your hands crossed, for example. Which can show that you are uninterested.
Storytelling
With storytelling, you add emotion to your story. You do this by starting your story with a personal situation. This shows why the subject you are talking about is important to you and arouses sympathy in your interlocutor. Useful when you want to convince your employer of something. End the conversation with a powerful conclusion that ties in with your personal anecdote.
Take a course or training?
