Tips for working sustainably within your industry

Besides supporting training, Doorzaam also helps improve the health and safety of temporary workers. This allows you to continue to enjoy your work in the future, without unpleasant restrictions due to your physical or mental health.

Working sustainably means working for the future. As a temporary worker, busy work, unpleasant private situations or money problems can put you under a lot of stress. Too much stress can cause sleep problems, physical complaints or even burnout.

That's why Doorzaam offers help with stress, for example, with the Less Stress, More Energy track. Doorzaam also offers help for temporary workers with money problems, thanks to Budget Coaching. As a temporary worker you can have a lot of uncertainty about when you will receive your income and exactly how much you will get. This can create complicated situations for your finances.

In doing so, it is always important to stay safe at work. Prevent pain or permanent injuries by being well aware of the safety rules. And indicate when you feel like the safety measures are not up to scratch. Test how aware you are of the risks at work with our game 'Your work your safety'.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to frequently asked questions

Is your question not listed? Then please contact us. We are happy to help you further!

Are Doorzaam's budgets really free?

Yes, Doorzaam's budgets are free for temporary workers. This is possible thanks to payments from employment agencies to the Social Fund for the Employment Agency Industry (SFU) and training obligations from employment agencies. So nothing is deducted from your salary.

Do I have a personal training budget?

Temporary employment agencies are required by the collective bargaining agreement to spend a budget on promoting the sustainable employability of temporary workers. They are free to decide how and to whom they spend this budget. As a temporary worker, you can of course ask what opportunities the agency has available for you. You may also be eligible for one of the allowances on this website.

What courses can I take?

Doorzaam is not a training organization. We do not provide training or courses ourselves. But we do help you make training possible. We do this by offering budgets.

Who funds Doorzaam?

Doorzaam is funded by payments to the Social Fund for the Temporary Employment Industry (SFU), which come from temporary employment agencies as part of their collective bargaining obligations.
