Continuing to develop yourself between jobs

When you feel good physically and mentally, you have more energy, are more motivated and can handle more. Make sure you get enough rest, eat healthy and have a good daily routine. Temporarily out of work? Then this is the time to consciously work on that.
Working out, quitting smoking and eating healthy all help you stay fit and feel better about yourself. And you also radiate that during job interviews. You show that you are investing in yourself.
Take a course, training or webinar
You don't have to go back to school to learn something new! There are plenty of (online) courses or trainings you can take to improve your skills. Think about your computer skills, your communication skills or a course related to a profession that is in high demand.

Start looking for a new hobby
