Free allowances for temporary workers

Who we are.

We are Doorzaam, the fund of the temporary employment industry. Our goal is to help temporary workers work healthily, safely, skillfully and with pleasure. Lonesome is funded by payments to the Social Fund for the Temporary Employment Industry (SFU) from temporary employment agencies as part of their collective bargaining obligations. This funding allows us to offer temporary workers various services at no cost to you. Nothing is deducted from your salary.

How does it work?

Temporary employment agencies contribute to the SFU and have spending obligations. A temporary employment agency must annually spend 1.02% of the actual wages of temporary workers in phase A (1 and 2) to promote sustainable employability. This means they must allocate budget to improve your skills and well-being. The part that is not spent must be paid to Doorzaam. This allows us to offer these services to you free of charge.

What are the fees?

Why free?

Many temporary workers wonder, "Free? How is that possible? I don't believe that, there must be a catch." But it really is true. Because staffing organizations are required to contribute to the SFU and spend part of their budget on your sustainable employability, we can offer these benefits at no cost. This system is set up to ensure that you can improve your skills and well-being at no cost to you.

What does it cost you?

For you as a temporary worker, it costs nothing. Not even if you stop working at your current temp agency. The only thing it costs you is your time and commitment. You can take advantage of all the benefits and services Doorzaam offers without any financial contribution.
