What is vitality?

Vitality means: full of life and energy. It is about health, resilience and enjoyment.

If you are vital:

  • Feel fit and strong
  • Can you cope better with stress
  • Have more fun in your work and personal life

So vitality is not just about eating healthy and getting enough exercise, but also about how you feel, how you deal with busyness and how you stay balanced.

Why is vitality important for temporary workers?

As a temporary worker, you may work in different places or teams. You may have irregular working hours or perform physically demanding work. That asks a lot of your body as well as your energy.

This is precisely why it is important to take good care of yourself. Because when your battery runs low, you notice it right away: you get tired faster, have less fun and can't perform as well.

By paying attention to your vitality, you can prevent it.

Tips to improve your vitality

There are many ways to take better care of yourself. You can quickly make a difference with these simple tips:

Move a little every day

A short walk during your break, taking the stairs instead of the elevator or biking around after work. Small movements add up to make a big difference.

Get enough sleep

7 to 8 hours of sleep helps your body recover and provides peace of mind.

Eat healthy and varied meals

Choose vegetables, fruits and water more often. This will keep you energized longer. And prefer to leave coffee at bedtime.

Take regular breaks

Taking a break from your work, even if it's just a short walk, will help you focus better and experience less stress.

Talk about what's on your mind

Talk to a colleague or friend when you are struggling with something. It provides relief and helps you sort things out.

Find relaxation

For example, listening to music, reading a book or doing breathing exercises.
